I am devoted to designing spaces that elevate the human experience and recently completed my graduate thesis, which explores how architecture can mediate stimuli to be intentionally conducive to improved mood, behavior, and overall health. As a graduate student at RISD's interior architecture program, my concepts focused on adaptive reuse. Hypothetical and conceptual interventions have served me well in adeptly managing a design process that is reactionary to existing conditions and context. My graduate experience has served as a continuation of my undergraduate experience at Cornell University, where I was fortunate to take a wide range of classes that fostered my fascination of the role design can play in creating intentionally inclusive spaces that improve health and wellbeing.
